Exploring the Origins: Outlander Prequel Cast Revealed
In a captivating announcement, Starz has unveiled the casting choices for the highly anticipated prequel series to "Outlander," titled "Outlander: Blood of My Blood." The new series, set to delve into the origins of beloved characters, has cast four talented actors to portray younger versions of pivotal figures from the original show.
Introducing the New Faces
Rory Alexander, known for his roles in "Inland" and "Pistol," will embody the younger Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, originally portrayed by Duncan LaCroix. Sam Retford, recognized for his work in "Hoard" and "Ackley Bridge," will take on the role of Dougal MacKenzie, previously played by Graham McTavish. Séamus McLean Ross, with credits in "Rebus" and "Payback," will portray Colum MacKenzie, originally brought to life by Gary Lewis.
Lastly, Conor MacNeill, seen in "The Tourist" and "Industry," will step into the shoes of Ned Gowan, first portrayed by Bill Paterson.
