Multi-soap vet Brian Gaskill joins the cast of CBS' The Young and the Restless

Soap actor Brian Gaskill is set to make his debut on the daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless later this month. The details of his new role are being kept under wraps, but it has been revealed that he will be playing the character Seth. Gaskill's character will cross paths with Nikki Newman, played by Melody Thomas Scott, at a meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. This will be Gaskill's fifth daytime soap role, following his appearances on All My Children, Port Charles, The Bold and the Beautiful, As the World Turns, and Guiding Light.

While Gaskill is not expected to have a long-term presence on The Young and the Restless, he will be making several appearances starting on January 8th.
