Are you as excited as I am for more Outlander? I've been eagerly awaiting the return of the romantic sci-fi series, especially after the shocking midseason finale. And guess what? We won't have to wait much longer for season 7 part 2!

According to executive producer Maril Davis, the second half of the season is going to be even more exhilarating.

She says, "It's like the second half does not give you time to breathe. There are so many ups and downs for everyone and so many life moments. I can't even put it into words—the second half is going to be even crazier than the first."

Get ready for a bumpy ride because the final season will have a total of sixteen episodes, filled with drama. Although the release date for the second half of season 7 has not been announced yet, we can expect it to come out in 2024.

The series will follow books 7 and 8 of the Outlander book series written by Diana Gabaldon. This means we can look forward to seeing Sam Heughen and Caitriona Balfe reprising their iconic roles as Jamie and Claire Fraser.

Showrunner Matthew B Roberts is thrilled about the return of many beloved characters, saying, "One of the many joys of our epic story is the element of time travel, which allows us to revisit some of our favorite characters in different times and places."

In addition to our familiar faces, season 7 part 2 will introduce several new actors to the Outlander family. The exact details of what we can expect in the second half are still a mystery, but we do know that Jamie, Claire, and Ian will be making their way back to Lallybroch.
