We've been eagerly waiting for the premiere of Blue Bloods Season 14, but unfortunately, it won't be happening in February 2024 as we had hoped. It seems like we'll have to wait a little longer for our favorite show to return.
Typically, February marks the return of shows after the winter break, but CBS and other networks have decided to hold off this year.
The main reason behind this decision is the delay in episode development, with production not starting until after Thanksgiving.
However, there is some good news amidst the disappointment. We do have a confirmed premiere date for Blue Bloods Season 14. The show will make its comeback after the Super Bowl. This decision makes sense as it avoids the interruption of Sunday shows, which often get pushed due to playoff games in January.
So, mark your calendars for Friday, February 16, when Blue Bloods will air at its usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT, following SWAT and Fire Country. Additionally, episodes will be available the next day on Paramount+.
Now for the sad news. Season 14 will be the last for Blue Bloods, but the network plans to split it into two parts. The first ten episodes will run from February to May, while the remaining eight episodes will premiere in the fall of 2024, ensuring that the writers have enough time to give the Reagan family the perfect send-off.
So, while it's disappointing that we won't see Blue Bloods right away, we can look forward to an exciting premiere after the Super Bowl and enjoy a remarkable final season of the show.
