The popular ABC series "Grey's Anatomy" continues to keep fans on their toes as it is confirmed to return for a 20th season this fall. The show, known for its dramatic storylines and beloved characters, has seen a lot of changes at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital recently, including the departures of stars Ellen Pompeo and Kelly McCreary, as well as showrunner Krista Vernoff.
Despite Pompeo's departure last month after playing Meredith Grey for all 19 seasons, she is set to return for the season 19 finale on May 18.
Additionally, there is a high chance she will make an appearance in the 20th season. McCreary, who portrays Maggie Pierce, will appear as a series regular for the final time on April 13 but is expected to guest star later in the season.
With fresh faces like Meg Marinis taking over as showrunner, fans can expect more exciting and heart-wrenching moments from the long-running medical drama.
